Hoisin sauce 460 ml - Amoy

Hoisin sauce comes originally from China, meaning "seafood". This name however is confusing because it contains no seafood at all. This sauce is made of soy sauce, spices, vinegar and sugar. Amoy Hoisin Sauce has a thick consistency and a slightly sweet and spicy flavor. In Chinese cooking hoisin sauce is mainly used for marinades and for basting meats such as the famous Peking duck. Amoy Hoisin Sauce is also great as a dipping sauce or for flavoring soups or rice dishes.
