 How To Prepare Rice For Sushi

1. Rinse the rice under cold water until water runs clear. Drain it and let in rest in a bowl for 10 minutes. 2. Put it in a pan and add as many cups water as used rice, plus one (e.g. 300g rice and 450ml water) 3. Cover with the lid and heat over high until the water boils. 4. Bring the heat to low and cook about 20 minutes. 5. Remove the pan from heat and leave the rice in the covered pan about 5 minutes. Mix it and let it rest for another 10 minutes. When the rice is completely cooled, it is ready to be made into all kinds of sushi.
