  250 g Baby Okra, washed and patted dry            
1/4 cup
32 g cornstarch
1 cup   oil
For the suace:    
9 cloves   garlic, crushed (keep half for garnish
1 pc
  red chili, chopped
pinch   ground black pepper
  cca 60 ml oyster sauce
1/2 cup
  water
1 tbsp
  cornstarch – dissolved in water

Instructions:

1. Combine half of the garlic with the rest of the ingredients for the sauce. Mix well. Set aside.
2. Coat the okra in cornstarch. Set aside.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, fry the okra for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
4. In a small pot, pour the mixed sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer until sauce thickens.
5. Place okra in a platter and pour sauce over.
6. Garnish with fried crushed garlic
